Providing meaning to a mass of unrelated needs, ideas, words and pictures - it is the designer’s job to select and fit this material together and make it interesting.

Summary & Qualifications

I’m an autonomous design leader with over 20 years of experience translating visionary ideas into impactful, human-centered digital products. With a foundation in visual design and a strong grasp of front-end technologies, I bring a strategic and systems-oriented approach to every phase of the product lifecycle.

Over the past three years, I’ve led the end-to-end development of a product from concept to launch—scaling a design team from zero to five and establishing the design practice as a critical pillar of product strategy and innovation. I thrive in ambiguous spaces, building clarity, alignment, and momentum around big ideas.

My work is driven by a deep commitment to designing for the common good—challenging conventions and elevating behavior, culture, and experience. I specialize in bridging the gap between vision and execution: shaping strategic direction, crafting elegant systems, and delivering experiences that are not only beautiful and intuitive, but also measurable in impact.

Experiences
within experiences

I’m currently based in Southern California where I serve as Director of Product Experience for XperiencOps. I’m leading the design of an enterprise SaaS platform transforming IT Operations for some of the Global 500, helping build and scale this new product from the ground up. I also continue to collaborate with freelance clients including L’Oreal.

Prior to this, I returned to work with the Spring Studio team in their new agency form, 17seconds, where I led UX for multiple projects with Morgan Stanley.

Before the pandemic, I was Senior Product Designer at Asurion, working on the ID8 team to integrate smart home data technologies developed by Catalina Labs, which had been acquired by Asurion in January 2019. Prior to the acquisition, I served as Lead Product Designer at Catalina Labs, a smart home/IoT lab based in Palo Alto. My work there spanned product development and UX design, as well as conceptual explorations using AR in mobile UI, voice and chat experiences via Amazon Alexa and Fire Cube, and Android Things/TV for network and device optimization across increasingly connected homes and offices.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Senior Player Experience Designer at Scopely, contributing to the mobile RPG The Walking Dead: Road to Survival.

Before relocating to Southern California, I lived in San Francisco and worked at Spring Studio, a UX agency later acquired by BBVA. There, I designed mobile and web concepts for investment and home-buying products. Before joining Spring, I was Lead UX Designer at Ignited Artists, a SEGA-funded gaming studio, where I focused on game-loop flows, prototyping, meta-game structures, and Unity UI integration.

I also contributed to early-stage product design at FlikStak, helping transform user-generated content into interactive, stackable formats. Prior to that, I worked with Western Union Digital Ventures on mobile and web solutions for global money transfer products.

Earlier in my career, I spent 10 years in Philadelphia, where I was Senior UX Engineer at Oracle, supporting the Primavera Global Business Unit. I led the design of the next-generation P6 enterprise project management software and initiated the development of a comprehensive online design system—pairing styled components with design specifications, CSS classes, and JavaScript implementation to ensure cohesive cross-product theming and branding across global teams.
